It appears lots really do read this blog

Four blog readers commented in just a couple of hours so I can figure the actual number is quite substantial.
Thank you!
I didn't think those tiny Google diagnostic figures were correct. Anyway, I will continue advancing into the blogosphere.
Again, thank you all.

Hi Dan: I go to the blog every morning while I am eating breakfast and enjoy it very much. Your comments are always presented very nicely and make the topic very interesting.

Thanks a lot please keep it up.

Thanks Ray, and also to Ken, Rex and Cherie, Joe and everyone else who commented. It probably won't surprise anybody who knows me that I'm not a computer genius. On my old Bow Narrows blog I had a younger person around to help me install the Statcounter utility that told me how many times people accessed the blog. It requires a person to insert code into the blog program. All of my younger family have now moved away and I'm reluctant to fool around with stuff I don't understand. Anyway, the Google blogspot platform does something similar, I thought. It seemingly counts the number of page hits by the day, week and all-time. I have always been suspicious about the accuracy of these numbers because they don't add up correctly over time. After all your comments, and the speed in which they came in, I realize that there are many people who are reading the blog. I don't really care about the real number. I don't host advertisements. I'm not interested in making money off the blog. I just want to share my experience about the outdoors in Northwestern Ontario.
Thanks again to all of you.
