I saw my first lynx this year at Red Lake. It was crossing near the trappers cabin. Neat animal!! I have a a few fox driving up to Red Lake and near town. I actually had one at the landing that came towards me. I got really nervous when it came within a few feet. It was not scared of me in the least. I assume most are not this tame. The only thing I could think of is that someone may have been feeding him. Any thoughts??
Great shots of the fox and lynx. Thanks for sharing. Hope you get shots of the Wolverine or Wolves.

Foxes tame very easily. I have a neighbour who noticed a red fox in his yard one time and put a piece of meat on his deck to see if it would come back and get it. It did the very next day. So he put a piece of meat at his patio door. The fox came and got it with everyone watching through the glass. The day after that he left the patio door open and put a piece of meat inside. The fox came and got it. It would have taken it from his hand if he had tried but that was the end of the experiment.
