The Story of the Three Bears

Once upon a time there was an apple tree in our yard

Those crabapples were red and juicy and Cork's favorite

Along came a mama bear

These apples are just right, she said

But they are too high to reach from the ground

"I'll knock the apples down to you kids," she said

"Or I'll break the branches so we can reach them"

No apples, broken branches are the end of the story
